Blog post 10(costume,props and location)

The 1st-4th screenshots have been put in this photo snack slideshow to highlight the different costumes the artist is wearing. At each point that the costume change,we are taken to a new location. The costumes are quite similar to each other 3/4 of his costumes have a Nike logo on the jumpers and along with those 3 costumes he wears a different hat. Props in this music video are used to amplify the words in the lyric,at 0:32 the artist is seen throwing away iced Fanta over the balcony shortly after hearing him say,"I like my Fanta with no ice", a car is also used a prop which falls into one of the genre conventions used. In this genre(UK grime/rap) girls are also used as part of mise-en-scene and cars too in order to demonstrate their wealth and lifestyle. The locations chosen also compliment the genre conventions as music videos like this tend to be set on the streets,rundown estates,garages/car parks and clubs.
