We chose this song for a number of reasons; most are listed in the 'Song Shortlist Presentation' blog post. The combination of tempo, rhythm and lyrics we can illustrate with make it good as an artistic opportunity, but the practicality (in terms of having only one artist) was also a contributing factor.
Fortunately, this song from the album does not have a video already - this version is a live performance for the radio. However, we will try to adapt it from some of Kano's other music videos from this album without deferring from the genre conventions that the audience would expect to see.

This is the music video from 'Hail', another song from Kano's recent 'Made in the Manor' album. Our video will be different to this; we will avoid using grey-scale filters in editing, although we may use darkened colour gradients as it fits in with our genre. In terms of location, although the urban setting would be the same, we would prefer to use an estate as opposed to terraced housing, and a high road as opposed to an industrial area. Conceptually, we want our illustration to feature the artist more, and in terms of costume we will try to use obviously branded clothes (sports/casual) as part of our own brand synergy for the artist.
